Secure email

Recently we have setup a secure email server connection for the windows hosting. In the "how to" you will find the instructions how to use this.
Why would you want to use this?

At the moment there are constant hacking attemps on websites and mail servers. Organized crime is interessted in getting your passwords so they can send 'anonymous' emails.
A normal email connection connects to the mail server un-encrypted, meaning that if someone monitors your mobile phone or home internet connection (WIFI for example) they can see the passwords in plain tekst. That makes it extremely easy for them to grab it. This is also true for all content in your emails, so if you send a request for a 'password' reminder from a website, that too can be interesting.....
Luckely most internet connections are already encrypted but what if you use a public hotspot? Better safe than sorry in this case.

Connecting to our secure email server makes the connection encrypted and almost impossible the grab. It uses a certificate to check the connection and lock it down.
The only downside is that you might have to change a few settings in your email program....

Here are the settings explained
